Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using RescRev ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. RescRev provides automated revenue recovery services for Stripe users.

2. Description of Service

RescRev acts as an intermediary connecting with your Stripe account via Stripe Connect OAuth. Our service automatically monitors failed payments ("dunning") and executes automated email campaigns to your customers to facilitate the recovery of these failed transactions.

3. Stripe Connect and Data Access

By connecting your Stripe account, you grant RescRev restricted, read-and-write access to specific data within your Stripe environment, strictly limited to what is necessary for our service to function (e.g., viewing failed invoices and triggering retries). You retain full ownership of your Stripe data and may revoke our access at any time through your Stripe Dashboard.

4. Disclaimer of Guarantees

While RescRev is designed to maximize the recovery of failed payments, we do not guarantee the successful recovery of any specific transaction or a specific percentage of revenue. The success of our automated campaigns depends on various external factors, including your customers' banking status and responsiveness.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RescRev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service.

6. Subscription and Billing

RescRev operates on a freemium and tiered subscription model based on the Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) recovered. If your recovered revenue exceeds the limits of your current plan (including the free trial cap), access to automated recovery features may be paused until you upgrade to an appropriate tier. We process all payments securely via Stripe.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use RescRev for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates Stripe's Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that engage in fraudulent activity or abuse our systems.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
